This medication is effective for diseases of the digestive system such as gastric and duodenal ulcers and gastritis. It helps improve symptoms such as heartburn, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, and belching due to excessive gastric acid. It is used to alleviate uncomfortable symptoms by neutralizing gastric acid and exerting an antacid effect.

How to take

Adult dose

As Almagate, take 1 g three times a day after meals, 30 minutes to 1 hour, chewed and taken orally. An additional dose may be taken before bedtime if necessary.

Child dose

Children aged 12 years and older take the same dosage as adults.

Precautions

Do not take this medication if you have an allergic reaction to this drug or any of its ingredients. Additionally, it is advisable not to take this medication if you have Alzheimer's disease, hemorrhoids, edema due to fluid retention, gestational hypertension, diarrhea, or suspected gastrointestinal bleeding. It is important not to take this drug concurrently with tetracycline antibiotics.
