How to take

Adult dose

Aged 15 years and over: 1 dose of 2 pouches (18 mL) For prevention of motion sickness, take the dose 30 minutes before travel. If additional doses are needed, take the dose at intervals of more than 4 hours. The maximum daily intake should be limited to 3 times.

Child dose

Aged 11 years to under 15 years: 1 dose of 1⅓ pouches (12 mL) Aged 7 years to under 11 years: 1 dose of 1 pouch (9 mL) Aged 3 years to under 7 years: 1 dose of ⅔ pouch (6 mL)

Precautions

This medication contains the artificial sweetener aspartame. Aspartame breaks down into phenylalanine in the body; therefore, patients with phenylketonuria, a hereditary condition that requires limiting phenylalanine intake, should not take this medication. The daily allowable limit for aspartame is regulated to below 40 mg/kg, as recommended by WHO, which allows adults to take up to 2.4 g per day. It is advisable for breastfeeding women and children under 3 years of age to avoid taking this medication. While taking this medication, it should not be used in conjunction with other antiemetics, cold medicine, analgesics, antihistamines, sedatives, or cough suppressants, nor should external applications containing diphenhydramine be used. If splitting a pouch for use, the remaining medication should be re-sealed and used within 2 days. Do not consume alcoholic beverages while taking this medication.
