This medication is taken orally once a day, at the same time every day. If necessary, it may be taken twice a day. The dosage is gradually increased by 5mg per week for the first three weeks. First week (Days 1-7): 5mg once daily Second week (Days 8-14): 10mg once daily Third week (Days 15-21): 15mg once daily Starting from the fourth week, a maintenance dose of 20mg once daily is administered. Elderly (over 65 years) is also recommended to take 20mg daily.

This medication is used for the treatment of moderate to severe Alzheimer's disease.

How to take

Adult dose

This medication is taken orally once a day, at the same time every day. If necessary, it may be taken twice a day. The dosage is gradually increased by 5mg per week for the first three weeks. Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with hypersensitivity to its components or severe liver or kidney impairment. Caution should be exercised when administered to patients with epilepsy or those with a history of seizures, and in conjunction with certain neurological medications. This medication may affect the central nervous system, and side effects such as dizziness, headache, drowsiness, constipation, and high blood pressure may occur. Because there is a potential for drug interactions, caution is particularly needed when used with NMDA antagonists, antipsychotic medications, or anticoagulants. Women who are pregnant or nursing should consult a doctor before taking this medication, and use during breastfeeding is generally not recommended.
