It assists patients at high risk with multiple risk factors, such as hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, obesity, and diabetes, to reduce cardiovascular risk and maintain health. This medication may cause serious side effects, such as gastrointestinal bleeding, if taken by individuals who regularly consume more than three drinks a day. Therefore, it is essential to consult a physician or pharmacist. This medication should not be used by certain patients. For example, those who have had an allergic reaction to this drug or other salicylates, patients with peptic ulcers, patients with aspirin-induced asthma, patients with hemophilia, patients with severe liver or kidney disease, patients with severe heart failure, patients with a tendency to bleed, patients taking high doses of methotrexate, and pregnant women in the third trimester should not take this medication. Moreover, patients with kidney or liver function problems, patients with cardiovascular circulatory dysfunctions, patients with a history of blood disorders, patients with bronchial asthma, pre-operative patients, children under three years of age, patients who have shown hypersensitivity to analgesics or anti-inflammatory drugs, the elderly, patients taking anticoagulants, and patients with glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency should use this medication with caution. Rarely, severe allergic reactions, skin rashes, blood disorders, gastrointestinal bleeding, liver impairments, kidney impairments, and neurological symptoms may occur while taking this medication, so if any symptoms appear, discontinue use immediately and seek medical attention. Particularly, when a child under 14 years old has chickenpox or influenza, taking this medication may lead to the rare but serious Reye's syndrome, so caution is advised. This medication is used as symptomatic treatment and regular blood tests and liver function tests are required for long-term use. During use, the patient’s condition should be observed carefully, especially in children with high fever, the elderly, and frail patients. This medication may interact with other drugs; therefore, especially when used with anticoagulants, antidiabetic medications, methotrexate, lithium, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), it is essential to consult a physician or pharmacist. During pregnancy, especially in the third trimester, use of this medication may have serious effects on the fetus, so it should be avoided. If breastfeeding, it is recommended to either discontinue breastfeeding or use alternative medications. The elderly may experience adverse reactions more easily, so it is advised to start with a low dosage and use cautiously. Care should be taken not to damage the enteric coating of this enteric-coated formulation and to avoid taking it with alkalizers. Store this medication out of reach of children, keep it tightly closed in its original container, and avoid transferring it to other containers.
