Local treatment effect for vaginal candidiasis and nonspecific bacterial vaginitis
This medication is used for the local treatment of vaginal candidiasis and nonspecific bacterial vaginitis.
Adults: Use 1 capsule in the evening for 12 days.
This medication should not be used by patients who are allergic to this medication or any of its ingredients. Patients using condoms or intra-vaginal contraceptive diaphragms should not use this medication. Patients using spermicides should use this medication with caution. Contact allergic dermatitis may occur when using this medication, and such symptoms may frequently appear, especially with prolonged use. If irritation of the mucous membranes occurs or if rare allergic reactions are observed, use should be discontinued immediately. This medication can cause systemic toxicity, which may affect the kidneys and hearing, so it is advisable to use it for the shortest duration possible. Patients with impaired kidney function or those who have experienced systemic toxicity should use this medication with special caution, and it should only be used when the benefits of treatment outweigh the risks. Patients with a history of allergic reactions to antibiotics or similar drugs should exercise more caution when using this medication. When using this medication, it is important to confirm the sensitivity of the bacteria to prevent the emergence of resistant strains and to use it for the necessary minimal period. This medication may weaken latex or rubber products like condoms or intra-vaginal contraceptive diaphragms, so caution should be exercised when used together. It may also reduce the contraceptive effect of spermicides, so this should be taken into account. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should use this medication only when the potential benefits outweigh the risks. Lactating women are advised not to use this medication as it may be transferred in breast milk. This medication should be used only vaginally and must not be taken orally. Do not discontinue treatment during menstruation; continue to use it as advised.
