Therefore, it is used to relieve various symptoms associated with gastrointestinal disorders and improve digestive function.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults and children over 12 years should take 1 g of Almagate three times a day, orally after chewing, 30 minutes to 1 hour after meals. If necessary, they can take one additional dose before bedtime.

Child dose

Children over 12 years should take 1 g three times a day, orally after chewing, 30 minutes to 1 hour after meals. If necessary, they can take one additional dose before bedtime.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by anyone allergic to this drug or its ingredients. Patients with Alzheimer's disease or hemorrhoids should also avoid this medication. It is advisable that individuals with body swelling or pregnancy-induced hypertension do not use this drug. Individuals experiencing diarrhea or undiagnosed gastrointestinal bleeding symptoms should avoid taking this drug. Additionally, this medication contains lactose, so those with lactose intolerance or related genetic diseases should not take it. Taking this drug with tetracycline antibiotics can interfere with drug absorption, so do not use them together. Those on other medications should consult a doctor or pharmacist because this medication may affect drug absorption or excretion. Specifically, it is recommended to take non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, ulcer treatments, and digitalis preparations at different times from this medication. Patients with impaired kidney function should be cautious as magnesium and aluminum in this medication may accumulate in the kidneys. Individuals who are weak or have low phosphorus intake should be aware that the aluminum component of this medication may hinder phosphorus absorption and affect bone health. Elderly patients, those with gastrointestinal bleeding symptoms, and women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should also consult a specialist before taking this medication. If constipation or diarrhea occurs during use, or if symptoms do not improve within two weeks, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. This medication must be used according to the prescribed dosage and administration, and when given to children, supervision by a guardian is necessary. When storing, keep it out of reach of children, place it back in its original container, and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
