View approved original text

This medication is indicated for essential hypertension for patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled by the combination therapy of telmisartan and amlodipine. Essential hypertension refers to a condition where blood pressure rises without a specific cause. This medication has the effect of lowering blood pressure; however, sometimes it may be difficult to control blood pressure even with monotherapy or combination therapy. In such cases, additional treatment or medication adjustments may be necessary tailored to individual patients. Therefore, it is important to regularly monitor blood pressure and continue treatment as directed by a physician. This drug is used to assist in the control of blood pressure in essential hypertension.
