Improvement in blood pressure control for essential hypertension

  • Essential hypertension
View approved original text

This medication is used for patients with essential hypertension whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled by combination therapy with telmisartan and amlodipine. Essential hypertension refers to a condition where blood pressure continuously rises due to lifestyle and genetic factors. This medication helps lower blood pressure by dilating blood vessels and reducing the burden on the heart. Therefore, it is actively used in patients who find it difficult to control their blood pressure, contributing to the prevention of complications.
