This medication is effective for inflammatory joint diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and osteoarthritis. It also helps alleviate inflammation around the shoulder joint, tooth pain, and post-traumatic inflammation. It is used to relieve pain from low back pain, sciatica, and non-articular rheumatism. This medication reduces inflammation and pain, assisting patients in their daily comfort.
As Aceclofenac, take 100 mg once every 12 hours, for a total of 2 times daily. This medication should be taken whole without chewing or breaking. Adjust the dose appropriately according to symptoms. To minimize cardiovascular adverse reactions, it should be administered at the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible duration.
Patients who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages a day may experience gastrointestinal bleeding and should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. As a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, it may increase the risk of cardiovascular disease, so patients with cardiovascular risk factors such as hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, and smoking should carefully consider taking it. The risk of cardiovascular complications such as myocardial infarction or stroke may increase depending on the dose and duration, so it should be used at the minimum effective dose for the shortest duration possible. Serious gastrointestinal side effects such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforations may occur, especially in elderly patients or those with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, who should exercise extra caution. Patients with a history of active peptic ulcer or bleeding, or allergic reactions to this drug or similar medications should not take it. Administration is prohibited in certain patient groups such as those with heart failure, severe kidney or liver dysfunction, late-stage pregnancy women, breastfeeding women, and patients with inflammatory bowel disease. Patients with reduced kidney function, hypertension, asthma history, etc., should be more cautious when taking this medication and regularly monitor their condition under doctor's guidance. This medication can cause various side effects such as dizziness, liver function abnormalities, rash, gastrointestinal discomfort, etc., and any adverse symptoms should be reported to a healthcare provider immediately. There are many drug interactions, especially with anticoagulants, diuretics, antidiabetic drugs, lithium, and methotrexate, so patients taking these should consult their doctor. Use with caution during the early and mid-pregnancy stages; it should not be taken in the late stages of pregnancy as it can pose a risk to the fetus. Breastfeeding women should discontinue breastfeeding or this medication, as it may be excreted in breast milk. Safety in children and adolescents has not been established, so it is advisable not to use it. Elderly patients are at higher risk of gastrointestinal bleeding and perforation, so special caution is necessary when taking it. In case of overdose, symptoms such as gastrointestinal irritation, hypotension, respiratory depression, seizures, etc., may occur, and appropriate treatment should be sought immediately at a medical facility. This medication should be kept out of reach of children and should not be transferred to other containers for safety.
