Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients who have had hypersensitivity reactions to its components. During the use of this medication, serious allergic reactions such as shock or anaphylaxis may rarely occur, so if such symptoms appear, it is important to discontinue administration immediately and seek appropriate medical care. It is also important to regularly monitor blood counts, as white blood cell or platelet levels may decrease. Liver function abnormalities or jaundice symptoms may appear, so regular liver function tests should be performed, and if abnormalities are found, administration should be discontinued. Skin hypersensitivity reactions such as urticaria, rash, and itching may occur; if these symptoms develop, medication should be stopped. Nervous system symptoms, such as dizziness, drowsiness, and numbness may occur, so caution should be taken when driving or operating machinery. In the gastrointestinal tract, dry mouth, constipation, abdominal distension, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, heartburn, abdominal pain, belching, and taste disturbances may occur. If liver enzyme levels rise significantly or if fever and rash occur, the medication should be discontinued immediately and a doctor should be consulted. Blood-related abnormalities may lead to thrombocytopenia and changes in white blood cell counts, requiring regular blood tests. Various symptoms such as breast pain, gynecomastia, galactorrhea, palpitations, fever, facial flushing, tongue numbness, cough, hair loss, menstrual irregularities, kidney function changes, edema, and a foreign body sensation in the throat may rarely occur. Safety has not been established during pregnancy, so women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should use it only when the therapeutic benefits outweigh the risks, and it is advisable to avoid breastfeeding, as the drug can be transmitted through breast milk. Caution is needed for children, especially low birth weight infants, neonates, infants, and children, as safety has not been sufficiently confirmed. For the elderly, the occurrence of adverse reactions is generally similar, but as physical function declines, greater attention should be paid to gastrointestinal side effects and other adverse effects. This medication should be kept out of reach of children, and transferring it to another container should be avoided as it may cause accidents or degradation in quality.
