Prevention of infection and pain relief for bites, wounds, and burns
This medication is used to prevent infections caused by bites, wounds, and burns, while simultaneously relieving pain.
Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area 1 to 3 times a day.
For children over 2 years of age, apply an appropriate amount to the affected area 1 to 3 times a day.
This medication should not be used by individuals who have had allergic reactions to aminoglycoside antibiotics or bacitracin. Additionally, this medication should not be used by those with a perforated eardrum. If allergic symptoms such as a rash appear while using this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Prolonged use may lead to kidney function issues or symptoms of hearing loss, so long-term use should be avoided. If any signs of skin hypersensitivity such as itching, redness, swelling, or blisters occur, they should be monitored carefully, and use should be discontinued if necessary. Long-term use of this medication may lead to resistant bacteria or worsening infections, so if symptoms do not improve after 2 weeks, consult a specialist. This medication is for topical use only on the skin and should not be used for extended periods on large burn areas or ulcerated skin. Care should be taken to avoid contact with the eyes, and it should never be used for ophthalmic purposes. This medication should be stored out of the reach of children, in a cool, dry place, avoiding direct sunlight, and the lid should be tightly closed. Additionally, to prevent misuse and maintain the quality of the medication, it is important not to transfer it to another container.
