This medication is used for reaching treatment goals in patients with essential hypertension or stage 2 hypertension whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled, by combining amlodipine and losartan. Additionally, the rosuvastatin component assists in lowering cholesterol levels and delaying the progression of atherosclerosis when dietary and exercise therapies are insufficient in patients with hypercholesterolemia and mixed dyslipidemia. Furthermore, it is used to reduce the risks of stroke, myocardial infarction, and arterial revascularization in adult patients with a high risk of cardiovascular disease. In summary, this medication is used to manage both hypertension and hyperlipidemia and reduce cardiovascular disease risks.
