In adults, initiate treatment with naftopidil at 25mg once daily. If the effect is insufficient, gradually increase the dose to 50~75mg at intervals of 1~2 weeks, and administer orally once daily after a meal. Adjust the dose as appropriate according to symptoms; the maximum daily dose is 75mg.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients who are allergic to its components or have a genetic condition that makes them unable to digest lactose. It should be used with caution in patients with impaired liver function, serious heart and cerebrovascular problems, elderly patients, and those taking certain antihypertensives. During treatment with this medication, side effects such as dizziness, lightheadedness, and lowered blood pressure may occur, so careful observation is required. In case of serious side effects like impaired liver function or loss of consciousness, medication should be stopped immediately and medical advice should be sought. In the event of an overdose, blood pressure can drop significantly, making it important to adhere to the prescribed dosage. In the initial stages of treatment, there may be dizziness upon position changes, so caution is necessary during daily activities. If this medication is taken with other antihypertensives or certain erectile dysfunction treatments, the antihypertensive effects may be amplified, so it is essential to inform the healthcare provider. Keep out of reach of children, and when taking the medication, remove it from its packaging to prevent esophageal injury. Elderly patients should be more cautious, as liver function decline may delay drug excretion. This medication provides symptomatic relief, and alternative treatments should be considered if it is ineffective.
