How to take

Adult dose

Adults and children over 12 years should take 1 tablet once a day.

Precautions

This medicine should not be taken by patients with hypercalcemia, sarcoidosis (a systemic inflammatory disease of unknown cause), or those with kidney disease. Additionally, those who have had allergic reactions to this medicine or its ingredients should avoid it. This medication is also not suitable for infants under 12 months, patients with kidney stones, and individuals with severe renal failure symptoms. Since this product contains lactose, individuals with a genetic condition that prevents lactose breakdown should refrain from taking it. While taking this medication, phosphate, calcium salts, oral tetracycline antibiotics, and antacids should not be taken together. Patients receiving any treatment, children who are exposed to a lot of sunlight and have a normal diet, pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, nursing mothers, and premature infants should consult a professional before taking this medication. Those with heart or circulatory issues, kidney disorders, hypoalbuminemia, those on cardiac glycosides, and individuals with a history of kidney stones should also consult before taking. If nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, hypotension, facial flushing, irregular heartbeat, or skin rash occurs during use, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a professional. In cases of overdose, gastric symptoms, hypernatremia, congestive heart failure, and edema may occur, with long-term use potentially leading to hypercalcemia and stone disease, so caution is warranted. Moreover, taking this drug with certain diuretics can dangerously elevate blood potassium levels, necessitating vigilance. Dosage should be adhered to precisely, and it should be administered to children under the supervision of an adult, avoiding tea containing tannins, such as green tea or black tea, before and after use. Store this medication in a tightly sealed container out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, in a cool, dry place. It is also important not to transfer it to other containers to prevent misuse and maintain quality.
