Treatment of peripheral arterial circulation disorders, improvement of dizziness and tinnitus, alleviation of symptoms of cerebral dysfunction
This medication is used to treat intermittent claudication, dizziness, and vascular or degenerative tinnitus caused by peripheral arterial circulation disorders. It also helps in the treatment of organic brain dysfunction symptoms associated with tinnitus, headaches, memory impairment, concentration difficulties, depression, and dizziness. Overall, it is used to improve blood circulation and support brain function to alleviate symptoms.
1) For peripheral arterial circulation disorders, dizziness, tinnitus: Take Ginkgo leaf extract 40 mg orally 3 times a day or 80 mg orally 2 times a day. 2) For organic brain dysfunction: Take Ginkgo leaf extract 40-80 mg orally 3 times a day or 120 mg orally 2 times a day. Adjust based on age and symptoms.
This medication should not be taken by individuals with certain allergic reactions. It should not be used in children under 12 years as there is insufficient experience with its use in this age group. Pregnant women should consult a physician before taking this medication, and those with lactose intolerance or certain genetic metabolic disorders due to the lactose component should also avoid taking it. Patients with bleeding disorders or those taking blood-thinning medications should consult a specialist before using this medication. Furthermore, nursing mothers should consult before taking this medication as it is uncertain whether it passes into breast milk. It is important to discontinue use and consult a specialist immediately if symptoms do not improve or worsen after 3 months of use or if surgery is planned. Rarely, gastrointestinal discomfort, headaches, and skin allergic reactions may occur, and symptoms such as dizziness or itching have also been reported. Serious allergic reactions such as anaphylaxis may occur, so immediate medical attention is necessary if unusual symptoms arise. This medication is not a treatment for hypertension, so hypertensive patients should refrain from using it unless special treatment is required. When storing, keep it out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and store in a cool, dry place.
