This medication is used for patients with essential hypertension whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with either amlodipine or telmisartan monotherapy. It is effective in helping to stabilize and manage blood pressure when control is insufficient.

How to take

Adult dose

The recommended dose of this medication is one tablet once daily, taken with water regardless of meals. If possible, it is recommended to take it at the same time every day (e.g., morning). - 40/5 mg: Administer to patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with 5 mg of amlodipine or 40 mg of telmisartan. - 80/5 mg: Administer to patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with 5 mg of amlodipine or this medication 40/5 mg.

Child dose

Safety and efficacy in pediatric patients under 18 years of age have not been established, so administration of this medication is not recommended.

Precautions

This medication should not be used during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters, as it can cause serious harm to the fetus. This drug should not be used by individuals with specific diseases, those who are pregnant or breastfeeding, patients with severely impaired liver or heart function, or those with hypotension.
