This medication is used to prevent infections caused by skin wounds such as bites, cuts, and burns, and to relieve associated pain.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area 1 to 3 times a day.

Children's dosage

For children aged 2 years and older, apply an appropriate amount to the affected area 1 to 3 times a day.

Precautions

This medicine should not be used by individuals who have had allergic reactions to aminoglycoside antibiotics or bacitracin. Also, patients with a perforated eardrum should not use this medication. If allergic symptoms such as rashes appear during use, discontinue immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Long-term use of this medicine may lead to kidney problems or hearing loss, so caution is necessary. Skin reactions such as itching, redness, swelling, or blisters may indicate sensitization and should be monitored. Moreover, prolonged use can result in the development of resistant bacteria, worsening the infection, so consult a specialist if symptoms do not improve after 2 weeks of use. This preparation is for topical use only and should not be used for long periods on large burn areas or where there are skin ulcers.
