Colitrin Tablet (Cholin Alfoscerate)

Adult dose

Administer choline alfoscerate 400 mg orally per dose, 2～3 times daily. Adjust the dose as appropriate according to symptoms.

This medication should not be used in patients who are allergic to this drug or its components. It is also safe for women who are pregnant or may become pregnant not to take this medication. Nausea may occur while taking this medication, which may be related to the dopaminergic activity in the brain; if symptoms are severe, the dosage should be reduced. Caution is needed as it may affect the gastrointestinal system and cause gastritis or gastrointestinal diseases. Additionally, symptoms such as drowsiness, insomnia, anger, nervousness, seizures, and hyperactivity of the nervous system may appear. This medication should be kept in a safe place out of reach of children. Transferring the medication to another container should be avoided as it increases the risk of accidents and may deteriorate the quality of the drug.
