Adult dose
Tugenonjeong 10/8 mg is administered only to adults, and the dosage should be individualized based on the efficacy and tolerability of each component, Candesartan cilexetil and Rosuvastatin. ○ Candesartan cilexetil 1. Essential Hypertension - Adults: An initial dose and maintenance dose of 8 to 16 mg daily is recommended. If blood pressure is not adequately controlled after 4 weeks at a dose of 16 mg, the maximum dose may be increased to 32 mg once daily. 2. The initial dose does not need to be adjusted for the elderly. 3. For patients with intravascular volume depletion, administer an initial dose of 4 mg with caution due to the risk of hypotension. 4. For patients with kidney dysfunction, including those on dialysis, the initial dose is 4 mg, and the dose should be adjusted based on the patient's response. Experience in patients with severe or end-stage renal disease (creatinine clearance < 15 mL/min) is limited. 5. For patients with liver dysfunction, the initial dose for patients with mild to moderate liver dysfunction is 2 mg once daily, and the dose should be adjusted based on the patient's response. No experience is available for use in patients with severe liver dysfunction. 6. Children: The safety and efficacy in individuals younger than 18 years have not been established.

This medication is used for patients who need to take both components, Candesartan cilexetil and Rosuvastatin. Candesartan cilexetil is used in patients with essential hypertension and heart failure with impaired left ventricular systolic function who have difficulty using ACE inhibitors. Rosuvastatin is used as an adjunct to diet in patients with hyperlipidemia and dyslipidemia, particularly helping to delay the progression of atherosclerosis and reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. It also effectively reduces the risks of stroke, myocardial infarction, and arterial revascularization in high-risk patients. This medication is effectively used in the treatment of these symptoms and diseases.
