This medication is used for patients who need to take both Candesartan Cilexetil and Rosuvastatin. Candesartan Cilexetil is used for patients with essential hypertension and heart failure patients with impaired left ventricular function who require additional therapy or are intolerant to ACE inhibitors. Rosuvastatin is used for dyslipidemia that cannot be controlled by diet and exercise, including hypercholesterolemia, heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia, and combined hyperlipidemia. It also serves as an adjunct to diet for patients with homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia and dysbetalipoproteinemia. It helps reduce the risk of stroke, myocardial infarction, and arterial revascularization in patients at high risk for cardiovascular disease. Therefore, this medication is used to control blood pressure and cholesterol levels and improve cardiovascular health.
