This drug is used for patients who require simultaneous administration of two components, Candesartan Cilexetil and Rosuvastatin. Candesartan Cilexetil is primarily used in patients with essential hypertension and heart failure having left ventricular dysfunction when additional treatment with ACE inhibitors is needed or poorly tolerated. Rosuvastatin helps with the treatment of dyslipidemia disorders such as primary hypercholesterolemia and mixed dyslipidemia that cannot be controlled by diet and exercise alone. Furthermore, it lowers total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol levels, delays the progression of atherosklerosis, and is used to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. It is particularly effective in reducing the risk of stroke, myocardial infarction, and vascular revascularization surgery in middle-aged patients with elevated high-sensitivity C-reactive protein levels and additional cardiovascular risk factors. Therefore, this drug is used to improve hypertension, heart failure, and the risk of cardiovascular diseases related to dyslipidemia.
