This medication is suitable for patients who require the combined use of two drugs, Candesartan Cilexetil and Rosuvastatin. Candesartan Cilexetil is mainly used for patients with essential hypertension and heart failure with decreased left ventricular systolic function (especially when additional treatment is needed or when tolerance to ACE inhibitors is reduced). Rosuvastatin is prescribed for patients with hypercholesterolemia and dyslipidemia when dietary therapy and exercise are difficult to control or need supplementation. Additionally, it helps in the treatment of homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia or to slow the progression of atherosclerosis. For adult patients at risk of cardiovascular disease, it is used to reduce the risk of stroke, myocardial infarction, and revascularization. By administering these two drugs together, blood pressure and blood lipid levels can be effectively controlled, improving cardiovascular health.
