This medication is effective for inflammatory joint diseases such as chronic polyarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. It is also used to relieve pain and inflammation caused by arthrosis and ankylosing spondylitis. It helps in treating painful swelling and inflammation occurring after trauma or surgery. It can be used as an adjunct in the treatment of infections accompanied by inflammation, pain, and fever. Overall, it is used to relieve symptoms of joint and inflammatory diseases.

How to take

Adult dose

As Dexibuprofen, take 300 mg once, 2 to 4 times a day orally. However, do not exceed 1,200 mg of Dexibuprofen per day.

Precautions

This medication can cause gastrointestinal bleeding in individuals who regularly consume more than 3 drinks per day, so consultation with a doctor or pharmacist is essential. Also, this medication may affect the cardiovascular system, increasing the risk of myocardial infarction or stroke, so those with cardiovascular diseases or risk factors should be cautious. Interactions

Drug interactions

Do not take this medication with aspirin, other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, or high-dose methotrexate (over 15 mg/week) used in cancer therapy. Corticosteroids, alcohol, digoxin, phenytoin, probenecid, sulfinpyrazone, sulfonylureas, ACE inhibitors, angiotensin II receptor antagonists, diuretics, lithium, coumarin anticoagulants (such as warfarin), baclofen, immunosuppressants (such as cyclosporine) should be used cautiously alongside this medication.
