Precautions

This medication can cause blood pressure to drop significantly when taken with nitrates or NO donors, so it is essential to check if you are currently taking or have recently taken such medications. Patients with cardiovascular diseases should have their heart condition thoroughly evaluated before taking this medication, and sexual activity that could strain the heart is not recommended. This medication can dilate blood vessels and temporarily lower blood pressure; therefore, caution is especially necessary for individuals with cardiovascular diseases. Patients with heart rhythm problems, heart failure, severe angina, uncontrolled hypotension or hypertension, and patients with pigmentary retinopathy should not use this medication. If an erection lasts longer than 4 hours, you should seek medical attention immediately, as failure to treat this condition may result in penile tissue damage or loss of erectile function. This medication may have a stronger effect on patients with specific heart conditions or impaired blood pressure regulation, so caution is advised. Patients taking medications such as Ritonavir may experience a significant increase in this drug's plasma concentration, requiring dosage adjustment. Patients with hypersensitivity to this medication, those taking organic nitrates, or patients with serious cardiovascular diseases, severe liver failure, or severe hypotension should not take this medication. Elderly patients, those with renal or liver failure, or patients taking CYP3A4 inhibitors should start at a lower dose, and caution is also necessary for those with bleeding disorders or specific blood conditions. Dizziness or visual disturbances may occur while taking this medication; therefore, caution is advised when driving or operating machinery. Taking this medication alongside alpha-blockers can cause a rapid decrease in blood pressure, so they should be used with an interval gap. This medication is meant for the treatment of erectile dysfunction and should not be used as an aphrodisiac or a sexual enhancer. Overdosing may lead to worsened symptoms of headache, flushing, dizziness, dyspepsia, etc., and it cannot be removed by renal dialysis, so caution is necessary. Store this medication out of reach of children and do not transfer it to another container. This medication should not be used with other erectile dysfunction treatments, and if sudden vision loss or hearing decline occurs, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician.
