Precautions

This medication is in ampule form, and the glass container must be cut carefully. Since glass shards may mix with the drug when cutting, extra caution is needed, especially when used by children or the elderly. This drug contains components extracted from human placenta, and measures have been taken to reduce infection risk during collection and manufacturing. However, due to the use of placenta-derived ingredients, the risk of infection transmission cannot be completely eliminated. Therefore, this drug should be used minimally and only when absolutely necessary. Additionally, the benzyl alcohol component contained in this medication can cause serious respiratory problems in premature infants, so caution is necessary. This drug should not be used by individuals with allergic reactions to this medication or other drugs, those with issues in major organs such as the heart, liver, or kidneys, and neonates or premature infants. Individuals with allergic predispositions should exercise increased caution when using this drug. During administration, hypersensitivity reactions such as shock symptoms, fever, rash, or nausea may occur, and if such symptoms arise, use should be immediately discontinued and appropriate treatment should be provided. Pain or redness may occur at the injection site, and rarely, symptoms such as gynecomastia or breast pain may appear; in these cases, administration should also be stopped. It is important to adequately explain and seek patient understanding regarding infection risks when using this drug. When injecting subcutaneously, care must be taken to avoid areas where nerves may pass, and care should be taken not to inject into the same area repeatedly. If severe pain occurs during injection or if blood is refluxing, the injection should be stopped immediately and performed in another area. This drug should be used only for subcutaneous injection.
