Precautions

This medication is provided as an ampoule injection, and care must be taken as glass fragments may mix when cutting the glass container. Extra caution should be exercised when used in children and the elderly to ensure no glass fragments are introduced. This medicine contains ingredients extracted from human placenta. Since placenta is used as a raw material, the risk of infection cannot be completely ruled out, and this medication should only be used restrictively when absolutely necessary. Additionally, this medication contains benzyl alcohol, which can cause fatal respiratory symptoms in premature or newborn infants, so it should not be administered to them. It is also safer not to administer this medication to patients with allergies to this or other drugs, patients with severe complications other than the heart, liver, or kidneys, and patients with psychogenic diseases. Patients with allergic tendencies should be particularly cautious when using this medication. When using this medication, hypersensitivity reactions such as shock, rash, nausea, and fever may occur; if any abnormal symptoms appear, stop use immediately and seek appropriate treatment. Pain or redness may occur at the injection site, and rarely gynecomastia or mastalgia may develop; if these symptoms occur, administration should be discontinued. During injections, avoid nerves and it is advisable to alternate the injection sites to prevent repeated injections in the same area. If severe pain or blood return occurs during needle insertion, the needle should be withdrawn immediately and injected in a different area. Finally, this medication should only be administered subcutaneously, and prior understanding and consent regarding the risk of infection is necessary before use.
