Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus if used during pregnancy, particularly in the second and third trimesters. Therefore, women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should not take it. This medication should not be administered to individuals with allergies to its ingredients or certain heart diseases, liver dysfunction, severe hypotension, or unstable heart failure following acute myocardial infarction. Patients with impaired liver function, gastrointestinal diseases, kidney diseases, elderly patients, and others should use this medication with special caution, and dose adjustment or regular monitoring may be necessary. When taking this medication, side effects such as dizziness and peripheral edema may occur, and serious adverse reactions may occur rarely, so it is crucial to consult a healthcare professional immediately if symptoms arise. Symptoms of hypotension may appear if blood pressure decreases too much, so patients who are particularly deficient in fluids or salt should carefully check their condition before taking it and monitor their blood pressure closely while on the medication. This medication may increase serum potassium levels; therefore, when taken with potassium supplements or medications containing potassium, serum potassium concentrations should be regularly monitored. Patients with poor kidney function should periodically monitor kidney function and serum electrolyte levels while taking this medication, and heart failure patients should also use it cautiously. This medication may interact with other medications, so if you are currently taking any other medications, you must inform your healthcare professional, especially if you are taking specific heart medications, diuretics, antibiotics, grapefruit juice, etc. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should not take this medication, and if pregnancy is planned or confirmed, use should be stopped immediately, and a healthcare professional should be consulted. The safety and effectiveness of this medication have not been adequately established for children and adolescents under 18 years of age, so it is not recommended for this age group. In case of overdose, symptoms such as blood pressure drops, dizziness, and arrhythmia may appear, requiring immediate emergency treatment, so caution is warranted. This medication should be kept out of reach of children, and to maintain product quality, do not transfer it to another container; it should be taken directly from its sealed package just before use.
