It is particularly applied as an alternative therapy for patients who cannot use ACE inhibitors. This medication contributes to improving vascular health and reducing the likelihood of cardiovascular diseases, thereby reducing overall mortality risk. Therefore, it is effectively used for managing hypertension and reducing cardiovascular risks.

How to take

Adult dose

For the treatment of essential hypertension, Telmisartan is administered orally once daily at a dose of 40 mg with water, and can be taken regardless of meals. Precautions
