Instill 1-2 drops 2-4 times a day. Adjust as appropriate according to symptoms.
This medication should not be used in patients with viral keratoconjunctivitis, fungal eye diseases, or infections caused by mycobacteria in the eyes. Additionally, it should not be administered to patients with chronic blepharitis or those who have had an allergic reaction to this medication. Special caution is required when used in cases of corneal epithelium damage or ulcers, tuberculosis or purulent eye diseases, glaucoma patients, and infants under 2 years of age. Long-term use of this medication may increase intraocular pressure and result in glaucoma, so regular eye pressure checks are necessary. There is a risk of worsening infections like herpetic keratitis or corneal ulcers, so if infection symptoms occur, consult a doctor immediately. Prolonged use may also result in cataracts or secondary infections, so care is needed. If inflammation or pain persists for more than 48 hours or worsens, discontinue use and consult a specialist. Contact lens wearers should remove their lenses before administration and wait at least 30 minutes after use before reinserting. Vision may be blurred; avoid driving or operating hazardous machinery after administration. During use of this medication, infection with varicella or measles can cause severe problems, so it is important to confirm vaccination history and be cautious about infection prevention. Special monitoring is necessary for children and patients taking certain medications, as they may have a higher risk of systemic side effects. This medication can interact with other drugs, so consult a professional before concurrent administration. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should avoid long-term use of this medication, and if it is necessary to use it, breastfeeding should be discontinued. Special caution is required for children and elderly patients as their bodily functions may differ. This medication is for ophthalmic use only; care should be taken to avoid direct contact between the tip of the container and the eye during use. Shake well before use, and it is important not to share with others to prevent contamination. Store in a tightly sealed container to protect from air and moisture, and keep at room temperature between 1°C and 30°C for safety.
