Improvement of blood pressure control in essential hypertension
This medication is used to effectively lower and control blood pressure in patients with essential hypertension when blood pressure is not adequately controlled with either amlodipine or telmisartan monotherapy. It helps reduce the risk of cardiovascular complications associated with hypertension. Consistent use is necessary as stable blood pressure management is crucial for maintaining heart and vascular health. This medication plays an important role in blood pressure control and improves the overall health status of patients.
The recommended dose of this medication is 1 tablet once daily, to be taken with water regardless of meals. It is recommended to take it at the same time each day (e.g., in the morning). Available doses are 40/5 mg, 80/5 mg, 40/10 mg, and 80/10 mg, and the appropriate dose should be administered according to blood pressure control status. For renal impairment patients, no dose adjustment is necessary for mild to moderate conditions, but severe cases require special monitoring.
The safety and efficacy for patients under the age of 18 have not been established, so administration is not recommended.
