Precautions

This medication may burden the liver, so individuals who consume alcohol regularly should consult a physician or pharmacist before use. Additionally, rare but serious allergic reactions may occur, so if skin rash or hypersensitivity appears, discontinue use immediately. One of the components in this medication may provoke seizures, therefore individuals with a history of seizures or those at high risk should be particularly cautious. For patients with severe asthma, this medication could exacerbate breathing difficulties and should only be used in a medically equipped environment. Coadministration with alcohol or certain sedatives can lead to severe drowsiness or respiratory suppression, so concurrent use should be avoided. Patients with head injuries or brain diseases may experience worsened symptoms such as increased intracranial pressure during the use of this medication. This medication can cause dependence, so do not use it for extended periods or abruptly discontinue the dosage without a doctor's guidance. Patients with impaired liver function should consult their physician before taking this medication, and to reduce the risk of liver damage, do not take other acetaminophen products concurrently. It is not safe to use this medication in children, especially those under 12 years of age or adolescents under 18 who have had certain surgeries. Pregnant or nursing mothers should consult a doctor before taking this medication as it may affect the fetus or newborn. Caution is needed as drowsiness or dizziness may occur while driving or operating machinery. In cases of overdose, severe respiratory suppression or liver damage may occur, so adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage and seek medical attention if abnormal symptoms are present. Regular medical supervision and monitoring are required while taking this medication, and consult healthcare providers regarding interactions with other drugs.
