Improvement of epithelial disorders of the conjunctiva (endogenous, exogenous)
This medication is used for epithelial disorders of the conjunctiva caused by endogenous diseases such as Sjögren's syndrome, mucocutaneous syndrome, dry eye syndrome, and exogenous diseases arising from surgery, drug-induced causes, trauma, and contact lens wear.
Instill 1 drop 5-6 times a day. Adjust dosage as appropriate according to symptoms.
This medication is an eye drop containing sodium hyaluronate as its main ingredient and is applied directly to the eyes. People who have allergies to the components or protein-based medications should not use this medication. During use, symptoms such as eyelid itching, eye irritation, conjunctivitis, redness, corneal issues, and a foreign body sensation may occur, and rarely, discharge or eye pain may develop. If such symptoms occur, discontinue use immediately and seek appropriate treatment. Furthermore, hypersensitivity reactions such as eyelid inflammation or dermatitis may occur, so if these symptoms arise, stop using it and seek treatment. Adverse reactions may be more pronounced when used in conjunction with steroids, dry eye treatments, antimicrobial agents, glaucoma treatments, antihistamines, cataract treatments, or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications, so caution is advised. Do not use this medication simultaneously with other eye drops; if it is necessary to use them together, administer the other eye drop first and then use this medication after 30 minutes. This product is designed for use in the eyes only, and care should be taken to ensure that the tip of the container does not touch the eyelid or eyelashes to prevent contamination of the solution. The preservative benzalkonium chloride may adhere to contact lenses, so it should not be used while wearing soft lenses, and at least 15 minutes should pass after use before wearing lenses. For single-use products, discard 1-2 drops when first used to remove container fragments, and after opening, use it immediately only once and dispose of the remaining solution and container. This medication should not be shared to avoid contamination. Store in a sealed container to prevent air or moisture from entering, and keep in a cool place away from direct sunlight out of reach of children.
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
This medication should be stored in a sealed container to prevent air or moisture from entering, ideally at room temperature between 1°C and 30°C. Storing it this way helps to maintain its efficacy.
