This medication helps improve constipation and is used to relieve various symptoms that may arise due to constipation, including loss of appetite, abdominal bloating, intestinal fermentation abnormalities, and hemorrhoids.

How to take

Adult dose

Ages 15 and above: 3 tablets per dose. Take once daily at bedtime (on an empty stomach). Start with the minimum dose and adjust gradually based on the shape and condition of stool.

Child dose

Ages 11 to under 15 years: 2 tablets per dose. Take once daily at bedtime (on an empty stomach). Start with the minimum dose and adjust gradually based on the shape and condition of stool.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with acute abdominal diseases or intestinal obstruction, and by children under 7 years old. Also, because it contains lactose, patients with lactose intolerance or certain genetic conditions should avoid taking it. It is advisable not to take this medication within one hour after taking antacids or milk. Individuals with severe abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, pregnant or potentially pregnant women, and those taking other medications should consult a professional before taking it. Patients on a sodium-restricted diet, or with a history of rectal bleeding or intestinal failure, should also exercise caution. Care should be taken if the patient has had allergies or hypersensitivity to Yellow No. 4 and Yellow No. 5 included in this medication. If any unusual symptoms such as rash, redness, itching, severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, or vomiting occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. If abdominal discomfort or cramps occur, or if constipation does not improve after one week of use, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Always adhere to the prescribed dosage, and when giving to children, supervision by a guardian is required. Especially in children under 10 years old, it is preferable to avoid use if possible. Do not chew the tablets; swallow them whole, and avoid prolonged use as it may lead to tolerance and worsening of constipation; do not use for more than a week continuously. If daily laxative use is necessary, the cause of constipation must be identified. This medication must be stored out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and in a cool, dry place in a sealed container. Do not transfer to other containers to maintain quality.
