Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with hypercalcemia (excessive calcium in the blood) and sarcoidosis (an unknown cause of systemic inflammatory disease) or those with impaired kidney function. Additionally, individuals allergic to any of the ingredients in this medication or children under 3 months of age, as well as those with kidney stones, should avoid taking it. This medication should not be taken concurrently with levodopa. Children under 1 year old, patients currently under treatment, children exposed to a lot of sunlight with normal diets, pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, premature infants, infants, and those with a history of kidney stones should consult a physician or pharmacist before taking this medication. This is because the vitamin D component can be transmitted to neonates through breast milk, causing hypercalcemia. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, inflammation of the mouth, constipation, decreased appetite, skin rashes or itching, swelling, or fluid retention (in patients with renal or heart failure) occur during treatment, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. Also, long-term high-dose intake of pyridoxine can cause nervous system issues, and administering vitamin B12 in high doses may lead to blood abnormalities. Excessive intake of this medication can lead to conditions like peptic ulcers, blood sugar regulation problems, hyperuricemia, and liver damage, so caution is necessary. If symptoms do not improve after about a month of use, consult a professional. This medication must be used according to the prescribed dosage, and parental supervision is required when administering to children. Urine may turn yellow after taking the medication, which should be noted as it may affect clinical test results. For storage, keep this medication out of reach of children, in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and in a tightly sealed container to prevent exposure to air or moisture. Additionally, to prevent misuse and maintain the quality of the medication, it is important not to transfer it to another container.
