This medication is used for the prevention and treatment of iron deficiency anemia. It helps improve anemia caused by iron deficiency, enhancing the oxygen-carrying capacity of the blood and alleviating symptoms such as fatigue and dizziness.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults take 1 capsule once a day.

Precautions

This medication can cause severe poisoning and pose a life-threatening risk if accidentally ingested in excess by children under 6 years old, and should be stored out of reach of children. People who are allergic to this medication, infants under 12 months old, those with specific iron metabolism disorders, and patients with anemia due to vitamin B12 deficiency should not take it. Also, individuals with a genetic problem digesting lactose should avoid this medication. While taking this medication, it is advisable not to take it together with phosphates, calcium salts, certain antibiotics, and antacids. During treatment, it is also a good idea to avoid tannin-containing teas like green and black tea, as well as milk and dairy products, to not hinder the medication's effectiveness. Patients receiving treatment, those with gastrointestinal diseases or heart and kidney conditions, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and individuals taking certain diuretics should consult with a doctor or pharmacist. If abnormal symptoms such as skin rash, itching, difficulty breathing, abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea, or fever occur, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a professional. The dosage and administration must be strictly followed, and if symptoms do not improve after about a month of taking the medication, it is necessary to consult a doctor or pharmacist. Before treating anemia, it is important to accurately identify the cause of anemia, and the folic acid included in this medication should be taken with vitamin B12 for certain types of anemia. This medication may enhance iron absorption when taken with vitamin C. When storing, keep it in a sealed container away from children, in a cool, dry place, and protect it from direct sunlight, avoiding transferring it to other containers.
