View approved original text

For patients with ischemic symptoms such as ulcers, pain, and coldness due to chronic arterial occlusion, if cilostazol monotherapy is insufficiently effective, the consideration of combination therapy with cilostazol and ginkgo biloba extract may be an option. This combination therapy helps improve blood circulation and alleviate symptoms. Furthermore, it can also be used to prevent recurrence of cerebral infarction following its onset, excluding cardiogenic cerebral embolism. Therefore, this treatment can be used for symptom improvement and recurrence prevention in patients with chronic arterial occlusion and non-cardiogenic cerebral infarction.
