Adult dosage

Apply 23-62 mg (0.25-0.66 grams as gel) of lidocaine 5-15 minutes before intercourse. Dosage and application time may vary by individual, and the lowest effective amount should be used. Do not exceed 2 grams (184 mg of lidocaine) within 24 hours.

This drug should not be used if the patient or partner has an allergic reaction to this drug or other amide-type local anesthetics. This medication should also not be used if there are wounds or inflammation at the application site. It is advisable not to administer this drug to a pregnant partner. Patients with liver or kidney disease should use this drug with caution. This medication contains propylene glycol; therefore, patients allergic to or having hypersensitivity reactions to this ingredient should use it carefully. If rashes or irritation occur on the skin during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor if symptoms persist. It is safe not to use this drug for an extended period without a doctor's direction for more than three months. This drug is a topical medication that is only applied to the skin and should not be used in the eyes or nose. It is recommended to avoid applying it multiple times to the same area consecutively. This medication should be kept out of reach of children or infants.
