1. This medication is effective for fever and pain due to colds, lower back pain, menstrual pain, rheumatoid arthritis, and degenerative joint disease such as osteoarthritis, as well as postoperative pain. It is also used to relieve various types of pain such as headaches, migraines, toothaches, muscle pain, and neuralgia. It can be helpful in treating inflammatory diseases such as ankylosing spondylitis, acute gout, and psoriatic arthritis, and also for conditions such as soft tissue injuries, tendinitis, and synovitis. It is effective for a wide range of pain and inflammatory conditions and is used to improve patients' symptoms.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

1. For rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, soft tissue injuries, non-articular rheumatic diseases, acute gout, psoriatic arthritis: Take 200-600mg per dose orally 3-4 times daily. The maximum dosage per day can be up to 3200mg. 3. For mild and moderate pain, colds: Take 200-400mg per dose orally 3-4 times daily. 4. For migraines: Take 200-400mg orally per dose.

Children's dosage

2. For juvenile rheumatoid arthritis: Administer 30-40mg per kg of body weight divided into 3-4 doses daily orally.

Precautions

This medication should be consulted with a physician or pharmacist before use by individuals who regularly consume more than three drinks a day. This medication can cause gastrointestinal bleeding, so individuals with a history of gastrointestinal diseases should avoid using it. There is an increased risk of cardiovascular events, such as myocardial infarction or stroke, in individuals with risk factors for heart or vascular disease when taking this medication. Caution is especially needed with those who have cardiovascular diseases or are taking it in high doses over extended periods. This medication can cause serious gastrointestinal issues such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforation, with older adults or those on long-term use being at greater risk. Monitor gastrointestinal symptoms carefully during treatment, and high-risk individuals should consider alternative therapies. Patients with gastrointestinal ulcers, severe blood abnormalities, liver dysfunction, kidney dysfunction, heart failure, or severe hypertension should not take this medication. Additionally, individuals with allergies to any component of this medication or with a history of asthma should avoid its use. During late pregnancy, this medication should not be used as it may prematurely close the ductus arteriosus of the fetus. Do not exceed the recommended dosage when taking this medication, and avoid taking it alongside other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. If nursing, consider discontinuing breastfeeding or the medication itself, as it can affect the infant. Individuals with blood disorders, liver or kidney diseases, heart diseases, hypertension, hypersensitivity, systemic lupus erythematosus, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, elderly individuals, pregnant or nursing women should consult a professional before use. In particular, those taking low-dose aspirin should be cautious as this medication can reduce the effectiveness of aspirin. This medication may interact with certain drugs, so consult a professional if taking ACE inhibitors, lithium, diuretics, methotrexate, anticoagulants, or selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). This medication contains the dye Yellow No. 5, so those allergic to this substance should use it with caution. If severe allergic reactions, blood abnormalities, serious gastrointestinal bleeding, skin rashes, liver function disturbances, difficulty breathing, visual disturbances, or kidney function decline occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician. This medication should be taken at the minimum effective dose for the shortest period, and those on long-term use should have regular checks to monitor liver and kidney function. Overdose may present as dizziness, nausea, vomiting, liver dysfunction, kidney failure, and low blood pressure, necessitating immediate medical attention. After 20 weeks of pregnancy, this medication may affect fetal kidney function, thus it should only be used at minimum doses for necessary short durations, and it is advisable to check amniotic fluid levels with ultrasound.

Hives, severe swelling (edema), chest tightness, difficulty breathing, cold sweats, paleness, severe rashes with high fever, blisters, peeling skin, pain in mucous membranes of the mouth/eyes, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, asthma attacks, respiratory distress with cough and fever, yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice), extreme lethargy, sudden and severe headaches, lightning headaches, seizures, confusion, visual disturbances, paralysis, urination changes

Mild side effects

Nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, indigestion, diarrhea, headache, drowsiness, dizziness, blood pressure fluctuations, palpitations, fatigue, fever, nosebleeds, periorbital edema, facial swelling, general edema, rash, itching, skin reddening, oral ulcers, stomatitis, dry mouth, blood disorders (anemia, thrombocytopenia, etc.), liver dysfunction, hyperkalemia, metabolic acidosis, hearing impairment, tinnitus, taste disturbances, psychiatric and neurological symptoms (depression, insomnia), low blood pressure, high blood pressure

Interactions

Drug interactions

This medication should not be taken with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, low-dose aspirin, and high doses of methotrexate. Consult a physician or pharmacist if taking together with ACE inhibitors, lithium, furosemide and thiazide diuretics, anticoagulants of the coumarin type (such as warfarin), and selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors.

Storage

This medication should be stored in a tightly closed container as it is sensitive to air and moisture. It is best kept at room temperature between 1 and 30 degrees Celsius.
