If cilostazol monotherapy is insufficiently effective, cilostazol can be combined with gingko biloba extract for treatment. This combination therapy improves ischemic symptoms such as ulcers, pain, and coldness due to chronic arterial occlusion, and is particularly effective for Buerger's disease, obstructive atherosclerosis, and diabetic peripheral vascular disease. It also helps in preventing recurrence after the occurrence of cerebral infarction (excluding cardiogenic cerebral embolism). Therefore, this treatment plays an important role in improving blood circulation, alleviating symptoms, and preventing recurrence.
