This medicine is used for patients with essential hypertension for whom blood pressure control is insufficient with monotherapy with either amlodipine or telmisartan. It effectively lowers blood pressure to reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases and helps maintain a healthy blood pressure status.

How to take

Adult dose

The recommended dosage of this drug is 1 tablet once a day, to be taken with water regardless of meals. It is advisable to take it at the same time every day (e.g., in the morning). For patients with renal impairment, dosage adjustments are not necessary for mild and moderate renal impairment; however, for severe renal impairment, therapy should start at a lower dose and be gradually increased. Precautions

This medication can cause serious risks to the fetus during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters, so women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should not take it. Patients with hypersensitivity to this drug, certain liver disorders, obstructive biliary disease, severe hypotension, or serious heart conditions should not use it. Patients with poor liver function, heart valve disease, or renal issues should exercise caution when using this drug, and dosage adjustments may be necessary. As this drug has a blood pressure-lowering effect, it may cause hypotension; therefore, patients in a state of dehydration should be particularly cautious, and if symptoms of hypotension occur, they should seek appropriate treatment immediately. Patients at risk of hyperkalemia should regularly monitor potassium levels through blood tests, and caution is necessary when using medications that contain a high amount of potassium together with this drug. Patients with impaired kidney function should regularly check and monitor kidney function while taking this drug. Dizziness, drowsiness, or other symptoms may occur while taking this medication, so caution should be taken when driving or operating hazardous machinery. Interactions may occur when combined with specific medications, so if you are taking other medications, be sure to inform your healthcare provider. This drug contains sorbitol; therefore, patients who cannot metabolize fructose due to a genetic condition are advised not to take it. Elderly patients may respond more sensitively to this drug; it is safer to start at a lower dose and gradually increase it. In case of overdose, serious hypotension and heart problems may occur, so it is essential to adhere to the prescribed dose and consult with healthcare providers immediately if any unusual symptoms arise.
