This medication helps in various situations such as physical fatigue, pregnancy and lactation, decrease in physical strength during and after illness, growth period, and old age through the supplementation of vitamins A, D, E, B1, B2, B6, and C. It is particularly effective in alleviating dryness of the eyes, improving night blindness, supporting healthy development of bones and teeth, and preventing rickets. Additionally, containing iron, it is used for the prevention and treatment of iron deficiency anemia. Zinc is also included to help supplement insufficient zinc levels. This medication is effectively used for maintaining overall health and alleviating symptoms.

How to take

Adult dose

For individuals aged 12 and older: take 1 tablet once daily after meals.

Precautions

This medication should be used with caution as administering more than 5,000 IU of vitamin A to women in the first three months of pregnancy or women who may become pregnant can increase the risk of congenital malformations in the fetus. Children, especially those under 6 years old, are at risk of fatal iron poisoning if they overdose this medication; therefore, keep it out of reach of children. Patients with excessively high calcium in the blood, patients with unexplained systemic inflammatory diseases, and patients with kidney diseases should not take this medication. Individuals allergic to any component of this medication, infants under 12 months, patients with hyperkalemia, patients with hemoglobinuria or kidney stones should avoid taking it. Also, patients with lactose intolerance or specific genetic metabolic disorders should not take this medication. During the course of treatment, it is advisable not to take this medication together with phosphates, calcium salts, certain antibiotics, antacids, and levodopa. Patients under treatment, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and patients with peptic ulcers or diseases of the heart, kidneys, or liver should consult a healthcare professional before using this medication. If any unusual symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, skin rash, abdominal pain, fever, or hair loss occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor. Especially, women should be cautious of changes in menstruation or bleeding when taking this medication, and careful attention is needed if there is a risk of thrombosis. Be sure to adhere to the prescribed dosage and regimen, as vitamin A can be sufficiently obtained from regular meals, thus avoiding overdose. This medication may affect urine test results, so it is advisable to inform healthcare professionals before the test. Lastly, this medication should be stored in a cool, dry place out of reach of children, and it should not be transferred to another container.

Drug interactions
