This medication is used to effectively control the blood pressure of patients with essential hypertension whose blood pressure is not sufficiently controlled by monotherapy with telmisartan or amlodipine.

How to take

Adult dose

The recommended dosage of this medication is 1 tablet once daily, to be taken with water regardless of meals. It is advisable to take it at the same time every day (e.g., in the morning). For patients with renal impairment, dose adjustments are not necessary for mild to moderate impairment, but patients with severe renal impairment should start with a lower dose and gradually increase it. For patients with liver impairment, the daily dosage of telmisartan should not exceed 40 milligrams.

Precautions

This drug may pose serious risks to the fetus during pregnancy, particularly in the second and third trimesters, and should not be used during pregnancy. Patients with impaired liver function, heart valve diseases, or gastrointestinal disorders need to be careful when taking this medication.
