This medication is used to treat epithelial disorders of the conjunctiva caused by both endogenous diseases, such as Sjögren's syndrome, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, and dry eye syndrome, as well as exogenous diseases resulting from surgery, drug side effects, trauma, and contact lens wear.

How to apply drops

Adult eye dose

Instill 1 drop of 0.1% or 0.3% solution 5 to 6 times a day. Adjust according to symptoms. Typically, the 0.1% solution is used, and if the effect is insufficient in severe conditions, the 0.3% solution is administered.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals allergic to protein-based medications. During use, symptoms such as eyelid itching, eye irritation, conjunctivitis, redness, abnormalities in the cornea, foreign body sensation, eye discharge, and eye pain may occur. If any of these symptoms occur, discontinue use immediately and seek appropriate treatment. Additionally, eyelid inflammation or dermatitis may occasionally occur, so use should be discontinued if these symptoms arise. This medication may have increased adverse reactions when used with steroid medications, dry eye treatments, antibiotics, glaucoma medications, antihistamines, cataract medications, and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory analgesics. Do not use other eye drops simultaneously; if necessary, use the other eye drops first and then this medication after 30 minutes. This medication is for ocular use only, and care should be taken to ensure that the tip of the container does not touch the eyelid or eyelashes. If the container is contaminated, the medication may be altered, so do not use cloudy medications. It is also advisable not to share this product and store it out of reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight in a cool place and do not transfer to another container. After opening, use within one month, and dispose of any remaining medication.
