Adult dosage
This medication should be swallowed with liquid like water and should not be chewed or crushed. 1) Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) - Treatment of erosive reflux esophagitis: administer 40 mg once daily for 4 weeks. For patients with untreated esophagitis or persistent symptoms, continue for another 4 weeks. - Long-term maintenance therapy for preventing recurrence in esophagitis patients: 20 mg once daily - Treatment for gastroesophageal reflux disease without esophagitis symptoms: · 20 mg once daily. If symptoms are not controlled after 4 weeks, further consultation is required. · Once symptoms are alleviated, continuous symptoms can be controlled by administering 20 mg once daily. · In adults, 20 mg can be administered as needed once daily. It is not recommended for patients at high risk of gastric and duodenal ulcer due to continuous use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs to take it as needed for symptom control.

This medication is used for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease and erosive reflux esophagitis, also providing long-term maintenance therapy for preventing recurrence in esophagitis patients. It is effective for the treatment and prevention of recurrence of duodenal and peptic ulcers associated with Helicobacter pylori infection. It is also used for the treatment and prevention of gastric ulcers related to gastrointestinal symptoms that may arise from nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Besides treating Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, it is also used for maintenance therapy to prevent rebleeding from gastric ulcers. This medication is widely used in the treatment of gastrointestinal diseases, helping to improve symptoms and prevent recurrence.

Dosage and Administration

Precautions

This medication should not be administered to certain patients. Firstly, it should not be used in patients who have had allergic reactions to this drug or its components.
