How to take

Adult dose

The recommended dosage for this medication is one tablet once daily, to be taken with water regardless of meals. If possible, it is recommended to take it at the same time every day (e.g., in the morning). For patients with renal impairment, no dosage adjustment is needed for mild to moderate renal impairment, but those with severe renal impairment should start with a lower dose and gradually increase it. Precautions

This medication can pose a serious risk to the fetus if taken during pregnancy, especially during the second and third trimesters, so it should not be taken by women who are pregnant or may become pregnant. Symptoms of hypotension may arise, so blood pressure and symptoms should be monitored closely during the initial phase of treatment, and appropriate action should be taken if necessary. There is a risk of elevated potassium levels, so patients with impaired kidney function or heart failure should regularly check their potassium levels. Patients with declining kidney function should monitor changes in kidney function while on this medication and consult healthcare professionals immediately if symptoms worsen. This medication may have interactions when taken with other antihypertensive agents; therefore, patients should inform their healthcare provider if they are taking other medicines. Furthermore, taking this medication with grapefruit juice may increase drug concentration in the blood, so it is advisable to avoid it. It is safest for pregnant or breastfeeding women to avoid this medication, and if planning to become pregnant, switching to another safe antihypertensive is recommended. Caution is advised when driving or operating hazardous machinery, as dizziness or drowsiness may occur during treatment.
