Improvement of neuropathies and cardiac disorders related to vitamin B1 deficiency and metabolic disorders
This medication is used to prevent and treat vitamin B1 deficiency. If vitamin B1 is not sufficiently ingested, for example in cases of wasting diseases, hyperthyroidism, pregnancy and lactation, or intense physical labor, this supplement may be necessary. It is also effective for Wernicke's encephalopathy and beriberi heart disease. It can help alleviate various symptoms associated with vitamin B1 deficiency or metabolic disorders, such as neuropathy, myalgia, and peripheral neuropathy. However, if there is no effect, it is advisable not to use it for more than 1 month. Overall, it is used to improve various symptoms related to vitamin B1 deficiency.
As Fursultiamine, usually 5 to 100 mg is administered subcutaneously, intramuscularly, or intravenously per adult per day. The dosage may be adjusted appropriately based on symptoms.
Since this drug is provided in ampoule form, care should be taken when opening the ampoule to prevent glass shards from mixing in. Extra caution is advised when used in children and the elderly. Individuals who are allergic to this drug or its components should not use it. Those who have had allergic reactions in the past should take special care when using this drug. Severe side effects such as shock may rarely occur when using this drug, so if symptoms like low blood pressure, chest pain, or shortness of breath occur, discontinue use immediately and seek appropriate treatment. Allergic reactions such as rashes may also rarely occur, so if symptoms appear, discontinue use. Gastrointestinal symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, stomatitis, and occasionally diarrhea, and headache or increased frequency of urination may sometimes occur. To reduce vascular pain during injection, it should be administered as slowly as possible. Any remaining liquid after use should not be reused to prevent bacterial contamination. When opening the ampoule, the top mark should face upwards, and the opposite side should be gently pressed to cut cleanly, while wiping the area around the ampoule with an alcohol swab to prevent foreign contamination. This drug should be stored out of reach of children, and transferring it to another container should be avoided to prevent accidents and degradation of the drug's quality.

This drug may be sensitive to light, so it should be stored in a container that does not allow light in. It is also advisable to store the drug at a temperature between 1 degree and 30 degrees Celsius at room temperature. Proper storage will help maintain the drug's efficacy for a longer time.
