Precautions

This medication may pose serious risks to the fetus, especially during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy, so it should not be taken by women who are pregnant or may become pregnant. Administration is contraindicated for patients with allergies to the active ingredient or related components, or with certain diseases such as liver, heart, or kidney conditions. Particularly, caution should be exercised in patients with impaired liver function, severe hypotension, or unstable cardiac function. While taking this medication, symptoms such as dizziness, edema, and hypotension may occur; if symptoms are severe, immediate consultation with a healthcare professional is advised. Because of its strong blood pressure-lowering effect, careful attention is needed for patients with insufficient fluid or salt, as hypotension may occur. This medication may elevate potassium levels, so blood potassium levels should be monitored regularly when taken with potassium supplements or potassium-rich foods. Patients with impaired kidney function may experience worsened kidney function, necessitating regular kidney function testing. Caution is advised during driving or operating hazardous machinery, as drowsiness or dizziness may lead to accidents. Interactions may occur when taken with other antihypertensive medications or certain drugs, so it's critical to inform healthcare professionals about all medications being taken. In cases of overdose, symptoms like severe hypotension or heart problems may arise, so the prescribed dosage must be strictly followed, and if any abnormal symptoms appear, immediate medical attention is required. This medication is not recommended for children due to insufficient data on safety and efficacy.
