Improvement of blood pressure control in essential hypertension
This medication helps patients with essential hypertension whose blood pressure is not properly controlled with either amlodipine or telmisartan monotherapy. The combination of the two components acts complementarily to dilate blood vessels and lower blood pressure. This helps reduce the burden on the heart and blood vessels and contributes to lowering the risk of complications. This medication is beneficial for managing blood pressure in cases where monotherapy is inadequate or ineffective. Regular use can lead to stable blood pressure control, which is advantageous for health.
The recommended dose is 1 tablet once daily, to be taken with water regardless of meals. It is advised to take it at the same time every day (e.g., morning). - 40/5 mg: Administer to patients whose blood pressure is inadequately controlled with 5 mg amlodipine or 40 mg telmisartan. - 80/5 mg: Administer to patients whose blood pressure is inadequately controlled with 5 mg amlodipine or this medication 40/5 mg.
