This medicine is effective in the treatment of myocardial ischemia caused by hypertension, stable angina, and atypical angina. It also helps to reduce the risk of hospitalization due to angina in patients who have recently been diagnosed with coronary heart disease by coronary angiography and do not have heart failure or low cardiac output, and to reduce the risks associated with coronary revascularization. In other words, it is used not only for treating hypertension and various forms of angina but also for reducing cardiovascular-related risks.
