Precautions

This medication is an eye drop containing sodium hyaluronate, used to relieve dryness or irritation of the eyes. First, this medicine should not be used in patients who are allergic to any of the ingredients or proteins. Side effects such as itching, irritation, redness, conjunctivitis, and corneal damage may occur, so usage should be stopped immediately if such symptoms appear, and a doctor should be consulted. Additionally, rare hypersensitivity reactions such as discharge, eye pain, blepharitis, and dermatitis may occur, so caution is advised. When used with other eye drops such as steroids, antibiotics, or glaucoma medications, side effects may be more pronounced, so it should strictly be used according to a doctor's instructions. This medication contains phosphates and may rarely cause corneal calcification in patients with severe corneal damage, so special care is needed. When using it concurrently with other eye drops, at least a 30-minute interval should be maintained, and it is recommended to use this medication first. This medicine should only be used for eye drops, and care should be taken to avoid the tip of the container touching eyelids or eyelashes. Otherwise, the medication may become contaminated. For single-use products, the first 1-2 drops should be discarded, and after opening, it should be used immediately, with any remaining liquid disposed of. Sharing among multiple individuals should be avoided to reduce the risk of infection, and it should be stored out of reach of children.
